“What’s the best way to lose fat?” Well, if we had the answer, the whole world would walk around with washboard abs. The best answer we can give you is: whatever works for you.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This is why in this Fat Loss pyramid that we’ve designed, we have labeled personal adherence as the number one factor in seeing long term, sustainable results. This pyramid is what we believe are the most important ingredients in creating a recipe for weight loss success. (This is OUTSIDE the gym, by the way. If we could fit more words on this tiny image that you can barely already read, we would have EXERCISE stamped across the whole bloody thing. Obviously.)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Personal adherence to weight loss simply means, whatever works for you. Some people have bodies that can adapt well to a high fat low carb diet, and others are the opposite. This requires plenty of trial and error and getting to know your body very well. Some people love the high satiation of meat, and other people find meat to be heavy in their gut and uncomfortable to digest. Once again, stick to what you know about yourself.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In addition to this, we’ve included nutrition, calorie control and patience as our 3 other points. Nutrition trumps calorie control because controlling your calories with protein bars, zero calorie noodles and sucralose loaded energy drinks are going to leave you feeling horrible and wreak havoc on your gut (artificial sweeteners are proven to be a gut irritant).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Patience. In a world of instant everything, patience is becoming a long forgotten virtue.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

And last but not least, social support along the way. A coach, mentor, friend or family member (the more the better) will help you stay connected to your goals.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

In summary, all we can say is that there is NO PERFECT DIET. Take it slow and keep the calories controlled while taking note of what foods work for you, and which foods don’t.
