Are You Willng To Do What It Takes?

Your fitness journey will typically begin by someone inspiring you, or something motivating you. Which is amazing; who wouldn’t want to spread and absorb more good vibes?! The world needs more of it! 🙌

However, what you don’t see behind an inspirational story is all of the following: sweat, tears, frustration, bloody hard work, patience, discipline, early mornings, sacrifices, strength, learning, trial/error, grit, self control, will power, preparation, consistency, responsibility, stress, persistence, stamina, tenacity, defeat, setbacks, disappointment, complications, integrity........ and SO much more.

It’s not easy and there is not one person that you will find on this planet who has lost weight (AND kept it off) that will tell you it was simple. It’s absolutely NOT, and you have to be prepared for that.

Before you begin your journey, you MUST make a promise to yourself that you’re not going to give up when it becomes hard. Please read that one more time, and let it sink in. 👆🏿

If you’re not prepared to work and come face to face with some seriously yucky demons, you’re not prepared for the journey. You will continue to disappoint yourself and this circle of trial and defeat will continue on, and on and on and on.

There’s nothing worse than looking back on your life and wishing you hadn’t spent 20, 30, 40 years dieting, regaining, dieting, regaining. Give yourself 2 years and bloody stick to it like white on rice. Don’t look back a few decades down the track and come to the realization that chips, cookies, sugar, alcohol, emotions or whatever it is that drives you to the lolly packet at night, had complete control of your life.

Prepare for good days and bad days on your journey to wellness. Step up, TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, and don’t EVER quit!!! 👊 tag
